No Manila Montet game last weekend - a lost opportunity?

Many of us were really excited last Sunday.

We had planned to head over to Turf BGC to watch Manila Montet play it’s kind of become a weekly habit for a lot of us already. But when we checked the schedule, we realized there was no match this weekend.

Officially, they said the club was taking a break for this special Filipino long weekend almost like a mini-holiday for everyone. We get that… players need rest too.

Still, we couldn’t help but feel a bit disappointed. This weekend, so many people were free, and the vibe around the city was perfect for football. It felt like the perfect time to fill the stands and bring even more energy to the team.

We just hope that next time, when everyone’s free and ready to cheer, there will be a game to go to. Because honestly weekends just don’t feel the same without seeing your favorite team on the pitch. ❤️⚽
