What to expect for the next Montet Challenge Series

Our club is back. And like every year, the official message is very positive and full of hope. After losing the title last season to Adamson University, the goal is clear: win it back.

But as fans, we have to ask can we really be so optimistic?

So far, eight players from last season are confirmed to return. That’s good because they already know each other and understand the club. But we also remember that this same group did not win the title. So the question is simple: was the squad good enough?

There is one big change: a new coach. A new coach can bring new ideas, new energy, and maybe a stronger mentality. The club also wants to sign five or six top players to make the team stronger.

A member of the staff said:

“I don’t think everything at the club needs to change. We already have good players. With the recruitment team, we want to find five, six, or even seven important players to support them. The good thing is that the competition starts later this year, so we have about two months to work calmly and prepare in the best way.”

This makes sense. Maybe we don’t need to change everything. Maybe we just need a few strong players who can help the team grow and compete at a higher level.

We still have two months to prepare. That’s enough time to work hard and build a strong team.

As fans, we will always support the club. We want to believe. But this season, we are hopeful and also a little careful.
